Jay (Teacher) A BFA graduate from the Chaingmai University. Is presently a guest lectuer at CMU Media Design Department. Presently Jay is researching producing and directing independent movies foucing on the culture of the Mekong river region. Photography Black and White The course is a 2 to 5 day program focusing on darkroom techniques and film exposure. Students are free to pick there subject matter and upon completion of the course they may rent the darkroom for there personal projects. -Introduction to the 35mm SLR camera -Types of black and white film and their appropriate uses -Factors which influence exposure -Black and white developing and printing -Different artistic approaches to photographic subject matter -Portrait photography with studio lighting -Editing your film using a contact sheet -Composing and cropping using a black and white enlarger.
